Fontanar is a small village belonging to Pozo Alcon (Jaen) placed to the south of the Nature reserve of Cazorla's sierra. An important difference separates it from the valley of the river The Minor Guadiana, giving origin to a hillside with deep ravines of high slopes. From the high place, enclaves like the Puntal del Lirio offer views of practically the whole Oriental Andalusia. Its landscape is unic, its flora and fauna, inside the Nature reserveAnd its neighborhoods: La Loma, natural viewing-point to which it is necessary to add the singularity of the buildings: the houses - caves; La Rambla, with abundant springs of water and vegetation that do of it a very interesting enclave and of big natural attraction. The quiet, the peace and the silence invite to a relaxed walk along an urban labyrinth studded with surprising corners, where we can enjoy the wealth-producing and slow chat of the local major ones.
